Dirty Sexy Money, A Great New Show

After having reservations about this show, I decided to give it a shot. Dirty Sexy Money spent 3 weeks living unseen on my DVR. A boring Saturday afternoon gave the show a chance and now it's a must see. I've already set a season pass for this great new show.

Led by Peter Krause, formerly of HBO's hit show Six Feet Under, Dirty Sexy Money is a great story with subtle humor mixed with drama and even a little mystery. Krause plays Nick George, a New York City attorney making on his own. Nick grew up despising his father who was the family lawyer for Darling family, one of New York's richest, most powerful families. Nick resents the Darling family because he feels they stole his father from him since he was more devoted to the Darling family than his only son.

However, a doomed flight changes everything. Nick's father is presumed dead after his plane crashed in the ocean. Tripp Darling, the head of the family, and played by none other than the fantastic Donald Sutherland, decides to try to recruit young Nick to take his father's place as the Darling family lawyer. After struggling with the decision, Nick takes the job.

As the Darling attorney, Nick is forced to play many roles for the family. He has to bail out the young rock star wannabe Jeremy Darling, find a home for the illegitimate son of Reverend Brian Darling (who completely hates Nick), along with many other mostly humorous tasks.

Since accepting the position, Nick also learns that his father was having an affair with Tripp Darling's wife. This leads to Nick suspecting Tripp of sabotaging his father's plane. However, the mystery continues. After clearing Tripp of the heinous act, Nick continues to search for his father's killer.

Dirty Sexy Money is a fantastic show. If you haven't seen it yet, you should definitely give it a shot. Post your thoughts below on this show. Hate it or love it?
