I just want to say I believe John Cena is sexy. He doesn't need steroids. The way CNN edited what John Cena said was out right wrong. They owe John Cena and all of his fans an apology.

CNN always uses the 1st Amendment of Freedom of the Press to defend their wrongs, but when this was writen, this wasnt to kill the reputation.... there are sertain limits when doing interviews that the press (Especially main stream. I.E CNN, FOX and NBC) needs to draw the line. 1st: giveing the names of minors. 2nd: like shown above, editing films. Do I belive John Cena has taken steroids? I do think he has... but I dont think he has sence being in WWE. John Cena has gotten noticeably smaller sence being in WWE, thats why I do think he has in the past. STILL, wether he has or not, CNN had no right to slam his reputation, considering how many kids, people wanting in the pro wrestling buissness, or just an average joe look up to him.

I have worked in the wrestling business behind the scenes
back in the 80's. Most of the so called genetic freaks of
wrestling were on the juice it's a secret they try to hide
and most will lie through their teeth about it. But If you
see a lot of these guy's when they first started out they
were decent size or average frame but a few years down the road they look like MR.Universe. Now don't get me wrong
yes these athletes work out every day in the gym to stay
in shape and look buff but one thing you must understand
is these guys are on the road an average of 300 day a year.
To get to the size of these super freaks naturally, takes
a lot more time and dedication to achieve than they have
due to their work schedule it takes many years to achieve
the size of a body builder and most of theses
super freak wrestlers go beyond body builder size
in just a few years do the math. Even the beloved
Hulk Hogan admitted to using steroids back in the day
and that fact is size sells in wrestling the bigger
you are the farther you go. If you look on the WWE's
website they always have wrestlers that have been suspended
or let go due to not passing drug tests. It's sad that
some of these guy's have to take short cuts to get a head
in the business but if you want to be on top and make the big money you do what ever it takes to get there as fast
as you can. As far as John Cena goes he didn't sell me on
if he has used steroids or not he didn't flat out denye
that he has, he just skirted around the subject. He may
not be using now but what about in the past. A lot of
the other top wrestlers that I mentioned before said the same thing that they never used steroids but they did.
And admitted to it years after they retired from wrestling.
If I burst some fans bubbles out there well I cant change
the truth. But who really cares if some of these guys
use steroids or not if they do there only hurting them
selves no one else. It doesnt change the fact that we
all love wrestling it's great entertainment and thats
what it's all about anyway in the long run.

I have just looked at the CNN interview of Cena and i assure you he has never done any drugs he was just saying how today there is some jerk out there who will say "No matter how many drug test he takes and passes they there is no way he is not taking drugs", but like Cena said he has been given a gift, Cena HAS proved that you DON'T need drugs to be the best performer in the wrestling business you just need to love yourself and work hard at what you do. Cena is still number #1 in my book because i know he loves what he does and he does it for us the fans and i am proud to be a CENA fan always and Forever. I hope Cena Sues the pants right off CNN for there misleading the public on his interview and i am very disappointed in CNN for that and they need to APPOLOGIZE to Cena for there bad behavior and not do this anymore to anyone else that's why you cannot believe CNN anymore. wow is all I can say. Whether or not the guy takes steroids is a moo-point when you see these two interviews. How an established news agency can film the original version, then edit it to the version they showed the public is unreal. Then, no less, they say they stand behind their decision to maintain that it was an honest job of reporting and broadcasting. The new standard for TV news has been set and unfortunately for them, this shows just how much they care about "truth in journalism".

I think that it is sad that CNN would do such a thing just to get rating, because that's all this is. You made John Cena look like something he is not. And, from the sources I have read, you are not going to apologize for it either. You know, CNN right now is nothing but a big JACKA$$. The are so many stories that you guys don't show(poitices), and then you show some mess like this. You guys are getting whats coming to you for all the lies that you tell. Since you wanna tell so many stories why don't you try airing some of the stuff that going on with out politices. But this is not about that, you have no ethical standings.

Having worked in the tv news industry, I can understand in part of what CNN did. However, by not broadcasting the entire interview or at least stating the facts from the interview, CNN misrepresented the story. I have enjoyed watching CNN, but now find that perhaps I should question their honesty and must side with Mr. Cena and his family in this matter. I am greatly disappointed in the way this matter was and is still being handled. An open apology is warrented and should be given, not only to Mr. Cena, his family and the WWE, but to the public as well for failing to show the truth behind the story and Mr. Cena's interview.

cena is very proud of his success and his country and for some news media to take and twist his words and his interview for some ratings is just wrong and inconsidaret to do to such a great guy and someone who has built him self from the bottom up. just because you are good at something and you are well built and succesful does not mean that you had to turn to performance drugs to get to that and to me John Cena is one of wwe's best wrestlers and cnn should be made to show the whole interview on national tv and issue a public appology to Cena!!
